I have an Epi Casino that I've been playing a lot lately. It has developed an annoying, and very noticeable rattle which is emanating from the bridge pickup (this is not the notorious Casino rattle caused by the bridge's retaining wire). Before I take the strings and p'up off, I thought I'd post here and see if any Casino owner(s) have dealt with this problem. It may not be too common as I found nothing googling or searching here. Any info much appreciated...

The MIK and the MIC Casino are famous for being prone to rattling of their components. It's a good sign: the top of the soundbox is vibrating as a guitar should. It's also a sign that the components are cheap and need being replaced ASAP. The toggle switch is one of the components that rattles. Get a Switchcraft long toggle switch. You won't be dissapointed.

Regards

I've actually been lucky w/ this Casino in as much as I'm not having any problems with the other usual Casino rattle candidates - bridge wire and toggle switch. I would like to replace the p'ups, but have been laying out too much cash on gear lately so that's on hold.... great sounding guitar otherwise though!
