All,
I recently got into finally hearing modes and the differences between them, and not just being shapes. So, to make it fun, I thought I would start this thread to discuss what modes are being used. Let's start with Reba!

hey Trumpus- the easiest exercise in the world. I started droning the notes and practicing the scales in different positions. For example, drone a C, play the Cmajor scale, then drone a E, play the C major scale, etc..That's when it hit me. After that using the different chords of the C I ii iii IV, etc structure and doing the same thing.

I was always learning that its the shape, etc., but it was really the Root note that did it for me
