The Schaller (?) locking tuners with the thumb wheels on my Deluxe Strat work great but I'd prefer something with a more vintage vibe. Call me shallow, but I don't like the look of the Schallers. Can someone point me towards vintage style locking tuners that are suitable drop in replacements? Thanks in advance!

The Schallers on your strat are unique in terms of how they mount so you wont find any drop in replacements. They also use a 13/32 (10mm) hole which is larger than vintage 11/32.
But you're not totally out of luck. You could get some Gotoh vintage style locking tuners and some conversion bushings from Stewmac.

It will require drilling holes for the mounting screws but it should be a fairly easy conversion.
