got this amp used for xmas from my kids- have been tinkering around with swapping out the 12 ax 7 preamp tubes for 12 au7's , seemed to lower output , but helped tone, then I swapped out the 6l6 gc's and swapped in a set of 6v6 vintage rca's I had laying around - awesome tone for about 5 minutes, then she died, put the 6l6's back in, and just get very minimal vloume, and that funky , " out of phase " tone that old fender tube amps create when you play after you shut them off - did I fry the output transformer ?- looks like its' going to am amp tech, if I can find a good one in the Canton, Ohio general area...
