Installing New Speaker in Blues Junior

Forgive me if this has been covered before but I did a search and spent the last hour trying to find this and came up short.

So, quick question: I'm installing a new speaker in my Blues Junior and I also purchased a new speaker wire (same Fender part). It looks like I can just slide the speaker wire ends onto the speaker. After that, should I also solder the connections? Do I need to worry about type of solder? I think I have some regular solder that I picked up at Radio Shack years ago.

Ok, so that was 2 questions and it wasn't that quick. :)

The point of the clips is that you don't have to solder. Make sure they're tight on there (crimp 'em with pliers if you need to) and let her rip.
