I have a SF Princeton (non-'verb model) that I would like to remove the trem circuit from so I can add a gain stage. I know I have to account for the loss of the trem circuit, but exactly how? Thanks for your help with this!

what "loss of the trem circuit" are you talking about?

The Princeton has bias varied trem, unlike larger black and silverface amps and it can't be removed from the circuit using a 50K switch pot like larger Fenders.

I removed the entire circuit (components), added a bias pot and used the second half of the PI tube as another gain stage (ala PR). I also added a larger (25 watt) OT. I solved the "loss" problem myself by adding a 220K resistor to ground before the last gain stage. Sounds great! Loud and full...so...never mind!:D
