I'm tired for getting behind my amp heads in the control room to connect different heads (5) to different cabs (4)...Would it be safe to put them thru a patch bay type thing, where I could just switch a cable in front to direct the signal.. I would make sure any head that isn't properly loaded is turned off, but...can a speaker signal go thru patch bays? Is it safe for me to connect 2 speaker cables using a barrel connector? Any suggestions?
