If these prices keep going up, I may have to do what I said I'd never do and part with my Pink Flesh. :messedup
It's my favorite fuzz pedal, but jeez $699.00 is freakin' crazy! Isn't there a recession going on right now?

Ahhhhh, capitalism.
Value is in the eye of the beholder, let the market dictate the price, it's worth as much as people will pay for it, etc, etc, ad nauseum.
When the hype takes hold and you add a dash of scarcity (whether real or artificial), stand back!!! :stir
(this is not a comment about Skreddy Pedals, a brand that I very much admire -- it's a general comment about GAS)

This was the same one that was $799 last week. It probably wont sell at this price either.

I saw that, but this auction has ended. Winning bid is $699.00 plus $10.00 shipping!
Without a doubt my favorite Muff-like fuzz ever, but $700? Wow!

I still don't think I'd part with mine but in hindsight it does make me wish I'd ordered two.

Is this fuzz different in regards to getting lost in the mix like many others. I have a FF clone, MKII clone, a hybrid Se/Ge with blend knob, and a muff like pedal. That last of which can't even go on the board, as it's not even close to being heard in a band sit. The others have worked on rare occasion, usually stacked.
How do people deal with fuzz pedals in a band mix? I enjoy the heck out of them when practicing but have so much disappointment on stage with them.

That is insane. Maybe I should sell mine after all? If I could get 700 bones I most definitely would sell....

Massive buyer's remorse hitting right . . . about . . . NOW, after it sets in that he/she just dropped over 700 bucks on a fuzz pedal. Granted, an excellent fuzz pedal, but still a fuzz pedal. 700 bucks is new-kickass-tube-amp-or-new-guitar money, not fuzz pedal money.

Yeah I waited out the list for the II but the I was worth the cash. Its the only skreddy pedal I have that I have paid a premium for.

That's my thinking! I absolutely love my PF, but $700.00 is just crazy! Once they hit $1000.00, mine is gone! :AOK

I'm so glad I managed to pick one of these up recently. I'd have to say it's my favorite Skreddy of them all, although I wouldn't mind having my Ernie back. Or the Zero. Or...

After seeing that today, I plugged in hoping to come to the conclusion to sell. Well, I don't think so. I need some mula bad to pay taxes, but the pink flesh sure does have a unique muff tone. I have tried for about two years now to find a replacement that was more affordable, but nothing really compares. The only pedal that was close was a mayo. If I still had the mayo I would really seriously consider selling the Pink Flesh considering they are going for, what, about $300 more?

On a side note, I think I may put the ? Lady proto on ebay. I had it on here for 300 or a little over a few weeks ago but nobody wanted it. LOL, would probably go for 400+ on that crazy ebay. I really like the ? Lady a lot too, but jeez, 1k on two muffs pedals is a little over my head. I was hoping the ? Lady, when a/bd today with the PF, would allow me to put the Pink Flesh on the bay, but I just can't bring myself to sell. Although the ? Lady can hold it's own against anything, I still prefer the pink flesh.

Allow me to return you to comfort by saying that the Cog Dis II I received today is one of the most badass muff tones I have ever heard.
That probably didn't work but oh well.

When did you get on the "list" for that? I got an email on 6/07. I have pretty much came to the conclusion that that pedal is the last hope to kick my pink flesh off the board.

I assume you mean 6/08 because thats when the MKII was announced on HM IIRC. I think I sent an email within a week of the announcement.

I couldn't agree more! I've been through my fair share of Fuzz pedals and the Pink Flesh and Lunar Module are my two favorites by far! The Echo is freakin' amazing as well!

I third that! All the skreddys I have had the pleasure of having have been steller. Of all the muff's I have tried, the mayo, ? Lady, and Pink Flesh are the three best. I did not bond with the Zero quite as well, but it still would be a close call with dice works for the 4th best muff I have tried (and I have tried almost all of the botique muffs). I did not have the dice works and zero at the same time, so I cannot say for sure. I really wish I could have afforded to keep them all. I really miss the mayo sometimes.

My Pink Flesh is my favorite fuzz pedal. I've been hoping to get another for another pedalboard that I use. Having said that, there is NO WAY that I would pay that much $$$ for it!
At the same time, I think, this is something that we (as musicians) do to ourselves...after all, we're the ones driving the market value UP on these things. All it takes is for one sale (like this one), then all of a sudden everybody's thinking THAT is the fair market value on these things!
I can certainly understand the $350-400ish price range for one of these (being that you can't find one anymore), but 3X the original price?!?! Lunacy (for the one who paid that price) & piracy (for the one ASKING that price).

Well, yup, put it on ebay with an opening bid of 250 and a buy it now for 415, sold in a few hours. Don't say I didn't try to sell it on here for a reasonable price (actually for less than what I paid). I didn't even get a lowball offer on here. :argue
I will miss it though, I really wish I could keep all the skreddy's, they are by far my favorite pedals of all. Oh, if I would have saved better for taxes.
