For some reason, my Traynor YBA-2B Bassmate (20 watt el84 combo) seems to be "popping" loudly when I click off the amp. There is no standby switch, only an on/off one. Here's a pic I grabbed from google just so you can see the amp that I'm referring to:

I haven't changed the tubes in around a year, so I figure that could be an issue. It also seems to be extremely sensitive to electrical noises and such. Granted both my house and rehearsal space had less than ideal electrical conditions, it still seems to pick up clicks, noises, and other sounds with more sensitivity than any other amp I've used. I figured this might be a related issue, would those symptoms also indicate a tube issue? I've heard that filter caps can be a problem in older amps, so would their aging cause some of the things I'm experiencing?
It isn't exactly a severe issue, but I am just inquiring in case these signs could indicate something more serious down the road. Apart from these, the amp is functioning wonderfully and sounds great, and, beyond my own issue with blowing it's original speaker due to sheer volume, it has never given me any significant problems. In any case, your thoughts on what the potential cause of all this is would be awesome.
