PRS PICKUPS
Has anyone tried some of the PRS pickups? I’m trying to upgrade my Santana SE and the Tone I’m looking for is; a very smooth fat clean tone with little distortion or another way to describe it a tone somewhat like pink floyd’s mixed with some los Lonely Boys tone, a somewhat creamy smooth distorted tone if I’m describing it right? What pickups would work best? The reason I’m to go with PRS is because they’re going to be free, since I did buy a Santana MD. I haven’t heard any PRS Pickups other than the Santana’s MD and there a bit brighter too much of a hot output I think and so I really want a lower output pick up; so what would you guys recommend? Also have any of you tried the 57’s from PRS?
