Anyone using this Analog Reverb Machine?

It seems a bit different from the Digital Reverb pedals that "model" or use presents for spring, plate, etc...
There are suggested settings for different types of Reverb, but it sounds like a great idea to be able to go between different characteristics of reverb types or models. To sculpt your own type of reverb I guess. I'm looking for a nice reverb to add to my acoustic, but it be great if it can double for my electric!
Can anyone compare this to the other common, affordable Digital reverbs, such as the BOSS RV-5, Verbzilla, Holy Grail Plus and Hardwire S. Reverb?

whoismarykelly has spoken highly of his in the past. Perhaps he will chime in.

I have one and greatly prefer it to the Holy Grail. The reverb sounds great, it's more flexible and not anywhere near as noisy. It won't do as many kinds of reverbs as other units like the Hardwire, Boss, or Verbzilla, but if you don't need tons of different types like caverns and reverse and stuff then it's a good choice imo.

sounds like its a better quality sound with more control, but not designed to do the extremes/special effect reverbs?

No, definitely not extreme stuff, more like just spring, hall, room type stuff.

I prefer the sound of my old Holy Grail, but I use a Boost RVB these days because of the tweakability and the volume knob, which helps compensate for the perceived loss of volume when you use extremely wet mixes. Also helps that it's PP2-compatible.

I like mine alot it's very versitle, my only prob is that there are so many knobs that accidentally moving them when you turn the pedal on and of can become an issue depending on where it's placed on your pedalboard.

I have one and like it a lot. There are suggested settings for plate, spring, hall, but I ended up just spinning knobs until I found a setting I liked. The feedback and rumble knobs have a fairly subtle effect on the sound until you get to the extremes. (You could use the feedback to produce instant uncontrolled feedback if you like.) I tend to use more of a "room" setting, but I occasionally like the long, deep settings, which will go longer and deeper than any amps with reverb I've owned. I'm not sure how much more extreme you need.
Two features I like are the boost function, which actually sounds quite good for a solo boost and, even if you're not boosting with it, lets you compensate for the volume drop with heavy reverb settings; and the fact that the level will go "all wet," which produces, to my ears, a sort of "special effect" sound.
