Looks identical but it has uncovered pickups. Anyone knows what year it was made in and whether it's modified or bone stock?

Nope, it's his favorite '59 - the one he still owns.

A previous owner called it "Stripe", for those into naming their guitars.

It's not a 58 he's playing in the video but pray tell what kind of mods are on the 58? :)

Nope, it's his favorite '59 - the one he still owns.

A previous owner called it "Stripe", for those into naming their guitars.

Stripe was owned and stolen from Ronnie Montrose and Gary first used it to play the title track from "Still Go The Blues".
It is great sounding guitar and much easier to play than Greeny.

I thought I read that he sold both 59`s he had, Greeny and Stripe. Every photo I see since the dreaded sale, he is playing the Gibson GM models and a newer R9.
