Hi Ya'll..I have this old J-P 90 that I have come to truly love...I replaced the pickups a few years ago with Duncan Selects...new pots too...The tuning machines are real cheap "licenced by Schaller" light weight junk. I'm wanting to upgrade but I don't want to modify the headstock any...I'm also wanting a heavier bridge...Ijust don't want any leftover holes... Any suggestions would be appreciated...Thanks.......J

Hey now!! I've decided on Hipshot HB7's...Gonna order them later today...Could some body tell me about bridges ...The Hipshots look O.K. How about the Badass bridges? There several types of them and I have no clue which would be best for my application..I could sure use a little help on this one!

I put a Leo Quan Bass Ass II on my MIM J bass a while back. Helped with the sustain and tone a bit. Worth the $70 I paid for it. Hard to say with yours, since I don't know what came on it. You would probably get a bunch of answers over on talkbass.com. Good luck
+1 for the Bad Ass Bridge. No new screw holes needed. Just get the correct model to replace your current bridge. Immediate improvement in clarity and sustain.
