Hi all,

Please give a listen to a few songs from the new CD The Sky Is Falling by my band, Days Before Tomorrow.

http://www.myspace.com/daysbeforetomorrow

We're a melodic prog rock band in the style of artists such as Marillion, Genesis, Porcupine Tree, Rush, Rabin-era Yes, Styx, Spock's Beard, etc.

The new CD was produced by industry legend Ron Nevison (Led Zeppelin, the Who, Heart, Jefferson Starship, Ozzy, and many more) and mixed by Grammy-winning engineer Earl Cohen -- it's an hour long concept album that really sounds great.

I look forward to any comments about our music (positive or negative) from my fellow TGPers.

Scott
p.s. We're opening for Keith Emerson at the Starland Ballroom on Sunday, June 7. Tickets are available from our myspace page or band site at http://www.daysbeforetomorrow.com .

Well I for one dug it
Throw in a healthy dose of 80's Saga to that mix IMHO
Good job

Funny -- I only really knew "On the loose" back then, so I can't really call them an influence, but listening to Saga now (their new CD is very good), we're definitely in the same style of melodic prog. My big issue with them, however, is that their drummer still plays 80s style drumming, whereas our drummer Jason Gianni comes from more of the Mike Portnoy/Gavin Harrison space.
