Made quick clips last night now that I can use my Attenuator with the new Marstran transformer installed. I realized I need to stop putting reverb on my mixdowns since there's no need for it on tone comparisons:
M75 100w (http://tylergrund.com/mp3/M75_attenuator.mp3)
H75 100w (http://tylergrund.com/mp3/H75_attenuator.mp3)
M75 & H75 100w (http://tylergrund.com/mp3/M75&H75_attenuator.mp3)
Marstran output tranny ?
Which one ? :BOUNCE
Oh .. is this the YBA-1A or YBA-1 ?
Thanks .

Yup, output.... the JTM50 128 output.
YBA-1a
You changed the PT on that one too, IIRC ?

Yup... I used a generic power tranny, not a Marstran. But I'm contemplating putting it back to the original PT to crank up the voltages from the steady 470 to its previous 535.
How about the choke ?
OEM or aftermarket ?

Same cheapy as the PT when I got them at "tubesandmore.com".
I might upgrade the choke someday, but I can't really prove how much a quality choke can help the tone.
