A lot of "judging a book by its cover" going on. Good for her!
I must admit...I got a little misty eyed.

Amazing?
The lady has a phenominal voice. She may gain some support and fame in England. But in America, image is nearly everything. Unfortunate.
If you enjoyed that song, get the Les Miserables cd featuring the orginal London cast. Wonderful music.

Has anyone noticed how the audience was looking so "disgusted" with her before she sang.
And, all of a sudden, they were her best friend when she was done?
Gotta be a lesson to all of us in there somewhere.

It is so easy in this world to be judgemental, cynical, and sometimes outright mean. I am thankful to have seen this. It reminds me that true beauty is too often overlooked.

She put it in their asses, but I'm certain she didn't do it with that spirit at all. I doubt she was even aware of people scoffing beforehand. She just did her thing undeterred, whether knowingly or otherwise. She was nervous enough to have to think about the answer to the pre-performance question, but sure didn't show any of that as soon as she sang the first note.

That was fantastic! Did anybody notice that she had over 30,000,000 views from all the different posts of that performance? 30,000,000!!!???
