Just got my Goldtop today and she's a beauty. T-style chambered mahogany body, Brazilian rosewood board, TV Jones Powertron humbuckers (look sort of like P-90's), 24.75" scale, 6150 SS frets, TonePros hardware, bound top, Kluson locking tuners and other nifty stuff. Check out Michael's website to see pics and a review by Guitar Player magazine.

The Goldtop plays like a dream and the build quality is flawless. For any of you lucky enough to own a Michael Tuttle guitar, you already know that nobody does frets better. His guitars have the uncanny ability to feel like a longtime musical friend in your hands. I also have one of his 54 Classic S guitars and my love for that instrument is what lead me to order the Goldtop.

Michael sent me progress pictures and called me several time during the build process. Best customer service I've ever experienced. If I'm lucky enough to keep my job throughout the current economy, I'll be ordering another guitar from Michael in the future.

Sweet. I love that guitar. I am waiting until he starts up on the set necks for my 4th Tuttle.
