Hi. Boston Guitar Works is getting in a guitar that I like. I will have to buy it online. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with this dealer? One thing about them is they have a 10% restocking fee on any returned guitars.

I have never returned a guitar in my life, but this seems rather steep. The things I am most concerned with is that the guitar will get a good setup before it's shipped, and also that the dealership is honest enough so that the guitar will be completely stock when it is shipped.

I have no experience with them, butu I've read some negative threads. This one has a few comments.

I bought a set of Fralin Vintage Hot pickups there over 10 years ago. I liked the place. I went to the store though.

I live fairly close, and haven't had a bad experience. I actually bought a Shiva, and called a few days later to see if I could return it for the EL-34 version, and he let me swap it no problem. They always have a nice selection of pedals and amps, I have never bought a guitar from them though.
