Sad news - Vern Gosdin passed away this morning. I't s sad to lose one of the good guys, and a cool songwriter too.

I hear first-hand he could be very demanding as a boss, but everyone I know that worked for him didn't mind much and took it all in stride for no other reason than to work with one of the greats and play some of the greatest country music ever. "Chiseled In Stone", for one, is one of the greatest country songs, period.
