Argh-NPD ruined

I took delivery of a brand new /1 Dyna Ranger yesterday from Rainbow Guitars out in Tuscon. Plugged it in and all I get is very loud hiss. I tried a fresh battery and also plugged it into the custom power supply on my L.A. Sound Design board-same results. I will have to call Fred Taccone-I realy was looking forward to hearing the pedal and putting it through its paces and all 5 tone settings. Anyone else have a problem with this pedal?

Update, I called on Saturday and got Fred Taccone on the line. He told me the pedal has a lifetime warranty and to send it to him (I sent it today) and he would take care of it. Now that is dedication and customer service. Props to Fred.

He is top notch! Any word on new amp models?

I did not ask about amps. One day I would like to own a few /13 amps though.
