I keep going back to "Blend" on Fantasias
such a great piece and such a precursor to so much music I value now-

anyone know the tuning he uses?
a B tuning-first two higher strings tuned to B-low string as well

he eased Dylan into going electric-a Master

Don't know, but I love me some Sandy Bull! Psychedelic, indian, folk, and free jazz make a great "blend".

I saw Sandy play a duo gig w/Don Cherry once, years ago before I knew very much about him. It was really cool...I basically went for Cherry and was pleasantly surprised by how unique it was.

...his l-o-n-g version of "Manha de Carnival" was my first intoduction to Sandy...still remember it being played as 'lead-in' to the hourly radio station break at Oxnard, CA.
