Has anyone used the tank connections in an amp with no loop?

It will work with some modifications. The loop gain is way too high, hence the need for mods. (It's a parallel loop.) (In spite of being parallel, the stock loop can sometimes be used as a gain boost/overdrive if one likes the result.)

Far out. I never pondered using the reverb as a loop. How extensive of a mod is that? Probably depends on the amp I suppose?

So the mod would involve correcting a possible impedance mismatch?
Further insight would be much appreciated.

I have, on my Goodsell. On that particular setup, it "works", but is not optimal. I wound up going mostly in the front of the head, instead, with the AxeFX, with that amp.

I wanted to bump this because I'd like to tinker with this concept.
If anyone has actually modded in this area, please share.
Or if anyone else has an idea of how to use this avenue somehow.
