Amp: new Supro Sahara

Goal: replace stock LED-less boost-function footswitch w/one that has an LED

Tested by me as working (but I don't like its "feel"): Boss FS-5L

Thanks.

It depends on how the boost is implemented in the Supro.Whether it's a relay or vactrol and what it uses for voltage;6.3v,5v or 30v.If it's working and you don't like the feel, get a different Switch.

This is why I asked my question in the first place.

Other feedback?

Jon,
Can you give us a few more details about the "feel" and what you don't like. How does it affect tone (if at all) or performance?

Mike

I'm sorry if the confusion is due to my own inarticulateness.

The original switch feels great. Just doesn't have an LED.

The Boss latched pedal works to engage and disengage the boost and has an LED. But when you step on it, if you're not careful, at times, it can quickly engage and then immediately disengage the boost. That's what I don't like about it.

So I thought perhaps I'd cop a new straightforward switch like the original one but just with an LED (the alternative is to drill the original and add an LED but I don't want to do that).

Thanks again.

Jon, have you checked out VooDoo Man switches on eBay? I picked up a simple 2 button (channel & 'verb) switch with LED's for about $20. Takes a battery, but also supposed to work with amps that have built in LED's. He says he'll make custom switches, too.
