CV7003 Sunface...

Anybody have one of these yet that they can compare with either a "standard" NKT275 or a High Gain NKT275????

Im sure at this point Im REALLY splitting hairs but there is a pretty large jump in gain between my NKT and my high gain NKT...Im wondering if the CV7003 version woudl fall in the middle gain wise...

hey, the nkt sunface cleans up better than the high gain.

Thats not what Im asking...I have an NKT275 and a high gain NKT275 and Im asking about the newest AM Sunface, which uses NOS CV7003 trannys...

A-Man has said he has 275's in a range of gain - it's not like there is regular gain and then a big jump to high gain transistors. If you ordered one "in-between" I'm sure he could accomodate you - they're made to order.

There is a standard and there is a high gain version and I do know that they do vary a bit from one to the other but the jump from the standard NKT to the HG NKT is a big jump...

I have thought about special ordering anotehr NKT between my standard and my high gain but Ihear that the CV7003 trannys sound killer so Im a little curious about those as well...
