Loose Gotoh tuners?

Hi

I've noticed that the tuning key on the high E and B strings are a bit loose... you can wiggle it slightly, while the others are firm. Does this affect the tuning stability and if needed, how can I tighten them?

Usually, you just tighten the screw in the middle of the knob. Go slowly, though, as it gets really tight in a hurry.

Yeah, but these are vintage style enclosed tuners with no visible screws.

You'd have to remove the dubious head from the guitar. On the side of the gear which butts up against the headstock, there are two two tabs holding the housing onto the gear plate. Being careful not to stab yourself in the process, you must bend these tabs up which will allow removal of the housing from the plate. Once the housing is removed, you can then evaluate what's going on with the gear.
