I'm hooked on Dave Porters composition for the Breaking Bad theme music. The whole thing really pulls you in with the dobro played against metallic drums....I think he mixes in exhaling a hit off the pipe too.
So is is just open G ?
I mean I get the riff, total Billy G. right out of the Tejas LP... sorta lifted from Asleep In The Desert, basically. (beautiful little song btw..evokes more of my home w.texas than anything else zz ever did). The short little solo in the middle is real moving..(lap steel I think).
Any thoughts on the BB tuning ?
