New Rocketfire Order - Color Choice Help!

I have placed an order for a new Rocketfire S-style guitar, and I'm really excited about it - my first custom build. The specs are pretty basic (rosewood board w/ 10" radius, 6105s, alder body, etc), but I'm having a tough time choosing a color so I thought I'd post a vote.

I'm pretty much down to Black over Sunburst or Sonic Blue at this point (although I'll leave an option for "other" in case there is something I haven't thought of in my hours of surfing the web to make this decision). I'm also including pics of the type of look I have in mind for each - although I would probably go with a worn back-of-neck look on the black one. Right now I'm leaning towards black, only because it would be more unique alongside what I currently own right now.

I'd like to add that Nick at Rocketfire has been as friendly and helpful as everyone on this board has said. I'm really looking forward to the final product!

Sonic blue looks way cooler than black IMO...as long as its not too blue/green. The "paler" the better.

Im partial to my Black Rocketfire... and I have a 3TB on the way... You wont find a better S-Type.

I have a Sonic Blue Rocketfire - so there you go. Love it. Agree with the earlier poster that said the lighter/more pale the color, the better. However, it was Cody's black one that first made me look at Nick's stuff. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for all the feedback. One of the problems with the sky being the limit is, it makes each decision that much tougher.

Kind of funny - I did a poll just for fun but the results didn't necessarily help with the decision (2 for Sonic, 2 for Black and 2 for Other). I'm going Sonic, though. Nick also suggested that as a color that comes out great, although Cody, yours looks awesome - I've checked it out a few times in different threads as I did my research on this. I actually started with LPB, but saw one in person I didn't like as much as the pics. The trouble is, there's so much variety between colors.

So, I'm going to get my revised specs in to Nick and I'll let you all know when it's completed. I'm a strat-o-holic and have owned a bunch, including a few nice CS strats I still own. I thought this would be something different (relatively speaking as an OCD nut) and I'm really excited about the final product. Thanks again!

What about Oly white? But, have the neck reliced. You won't believe the feel of it. And Cody is right, I have yet to play a strat that feels and plays as good as a Rocketfire. Good luck and be patient. It will take a while but you'll be thrilled with the look, the feel, and the sound.

bluesgolfer - Nice strat! I'm going to stick with Sonic for now - should actually be similar, I'd think. Just...bluer. The relicing on this one is what I'm going for - a little lighter. I am going with the worn neck, though.

I should have my new Rocketfire in June or July. I went with the 3 tone sunburst.If i had a choice between the black and the light blue, I would go with a the light blue. I almost went with sonic blue on my order but I chickened out.
