Ok, guys... I've been reading this forum for sometime now, posted some stuff, but didn't feel comfortable enough to post my own sound clips here before. Well, I'm still not comfortable hehe, but just thoght "what the heck"...

So, here it goes: http://www.myspace.com/asus2

I've been playing with my church's P&W team for some years now, and been playing/recording for other people, but this was my first attempt at doing something of my own.

Most of those demos have been up for a year now, and just recently I got to set up a trio to play this live (with totally different arrengements), and it's been great.

I'd apreciate all kinds of inputs - if you think it sucks, say it! Everything is wellcome if I can learn and develop those ideas into something beatiful ;)

Later I'll post some of the first "live in the studio" demos we've made!

Well, here is a rock jam we made in the studio our last rehearsal: just a Les Paul with a P90 in the bridge (and no p.u. in the neck) going to my pedalboard, and then to a JCM800 50W and a Marshall Plexi (with two EL34 removed) into a cab wich I don't know much about (it was from the studio, and we just rehearsed there once). One mic to get everything, so the bass drums suffered a lot in the final mix.

I'm listening to Everlasting Grace. It definitely does NOT suck. Lovely tones and a really cool feel.

Thanks, man! This song is a one take - actually two: one for tha chords, and one for the melody (with my sloppy slide playing).
It's for another, more left field project of mine, called "Trilhas Imaginárias" ( http://www.myspace.com/trilhasimaginarias ), but it ended sounding so melodic that I put there with the other songs...
I don't think I'll ever play it live - it's was such a feel when I improvised it... It's like a prayer. Actually, that's what it is.

Here is another song, from the same rehearsal: http://www.4shared.com/file/101586917/a891a524/strange_ways.html

It is still kinda rough, but the idea is there... We mess it up at the end, but it was the first time we played it - now we have to come up with a decente ending to the tune heheh

Thank you very, much, Splatt!!

This internet thing is crazy... I grew up as a musician influenced by some of your music - that was extremely hard to find here in Brazil, I had just a couple of clips I could find at the than enfant world wide web - and now, I post my own songs in a forum, and can have a feedback from David Torn himself about my semi-organized noises! Thank you again, man!

Did you here the http://www.myspace.com/trilhasimaginarias ? I think you're going to like it!
