Has anyone tried running and Axe/Fx or other modeler into a Roland Jazz Chorus 120 amp? I understand you can bypass the preamp and run straight into the power amp getting the equivalent of a 60 watt per channel stereo powered cab wit 2 x 12s.

That could work ok. Are you anywhere near a GC? Most of them have JC-120's and they'll definitely have a POD you could try with it.

GC in Utah doesn't carry any of the larger (as in even a cube 80) Roland amps. I'd bring my RP500 in to try it. I'm just curious to know how well it would work. I seem to remember an Axe/Fx thread about someone requesting a JC120 as a backline spec. when they toured to use with the Axe/Fx. Thanks anyway.
