I know I clicked a link here some months back from a member whose band is very zappa influenced. I want to check them out again and maybe buy a cd.

Does anyone have an idea and a link?

Glad I could help.

I've got the CD and it kicks butt. Waiting anxiously for John's next release.

Youse is a word in certain sections of NJ and NY.

Glad you guys still enjoy this album. Thanks! :bender

I don't have a release date yet for my upcoming album with drummer Marco Minnemann, West ZooOpolis, but we are probably looking at the end of this year. Marco invited several friends/composers to write an album around a continuous 52-minute solo drum performance he recorded - doing all his freaky polymetric stuff. So now, over two years later, at the end of the whole thing, we have albums from Trey Gunn, Mike Keneally, Alex Machacek, Phi Yaan-Zek and I coming out on Abstract Logix label. Recently, Trey has bee laboring away on a group compilation CD that morphs in and out of selections from everyone's album. It's a trip - Trey ingeniously made it all work. The compilation will be the first CD out, then the individual albums will go next @ one per month on the Abstract Logix label. The whole project is called Normalizer 2.

Oh yeah, I'm also working on new material for HWM 2 which will probably have Marco on a lot of the drums, Mike Keneally on keys and other stuff, Jerry Goodman on some electric violin again.
