DIY for true bypass on Vox wah?

I googled and I couldn't find anything. I have a Vox V847 wah and I want to covert it to true bypass.

Isn't there a way to do this just by changing the switch to a DPDT?

Which Vox wah is yours? The chinese Vox or the older US that doesn't have a DC Jack? Anyway here it is.

There's good diagrams for TB, and some mods you might want to consider (since you already have the soldering iron out...)

I'm running an Area 51 drop in kit in my Vox case, and am very happy. If I were a bit better with the soldering iron, I would have just done the mods on this site - basically the same thing. (and $100 cheaper).
