I just build a Hermida Reverb pedal from General Guitar Gadgets. Nice pedal, easy to build. I had it done in about 2 hours (minus the paint)

I was looking for something that didn't eat through batteries like crazy ala Verbzilla. They should have called it batteryzilla.

IMO the Hermida lives where the verbzilla sounds best (on the spring setting with all the controls around 12:00) so it's a perfect swap for me. The Hermida might be a hair brighter sounding but I'm ok with that.

Some one asked for a clip so here it is.

Chain is Heritage H535 (bridge PU) > Hermida reverb (about 12:00) > 1968 Fender Bronco with the trem is on slightly.

First few seconds are dry, no pedal, then I smacked a chord a few times so you can hear the tails, then a small lead part. No eq, just a hair of compression.

For $65.00 it's a no brainer. It works great with a little Fender.

cool thanks, good sound clip!

where was the knob set for the clip?

does it preserve the original tone better than the verbzilla?

Thanks for the clip.

Me too.
Mine should be here tomorrow or Tuesday.
$99 with the wall wart is a great price.

BTW, watch out when you attach the brick to the enclosure. I had some small pieces of aluminum tubing I used for stand offs so I didn't stress or break off the brick's mounting holes.

The other thing, if you follow the layout diagram be aware of the orientation of the circuit board when you wire it up. When you populate the board the layout diagram is correct but once you attach it to the brick, it's mirrored. Meaning the wires that were on the left side of the board are now on the right side.

Also; be aware the photo in the instructions has a couple errors.. build it to the layout not the photo... R5 and R6 are backwards and the red and black wires off of the board are backwards in the photo from the layout.

The photo above is very nice good job... mine looks like a monkey did it compared to WF.

Has anyone used this straight into a passive type loop?
