5Y3GT in place of a 5AR4?

I've read quite a few posts and didn't find the exact answer I was looking for.

I'm wondering if running a 5Y3GT in a Bogner Metropolis, 15 watt 2 EL-84 amp will cause damage to the amp?

I'm not so concerned about the life of the tube and will will rarely be wound up to 10 on the dials.
