Now I want a P90

Tried a les paul jr. today, and I loved the sound of that bridge-p90, now I want one in my guitar. I want it humbuckersized and noiseless. I'm thinking the Lindy Fralin P92 is a good choice. Any comments?

They looked okay, but they're not noiseless. If I can't get 'em noiseless, I'll just try a GFS Mean 90.. But I really, really want some good noiseless ones.

Try Tom Anderson's M series pickups. Very focused sound like P-90's and humbucking.

I don't hear much noise (the objectionable kind) coming out of my Z-90s. These are some of the coolest sounding pickups I've ever heard. You might want to try them first before rejecting them out of hand on noise grounds. (The P-92s are cool too ...)

I don't really have any possibility to try any of these pickups before I buy. I just want a sound similar to the LP Jr., just without the noise - isn't this what the Fralin P92 does?

I think this is what was mentioned...its his version of a P90 but humbucker sized...
