Hi,

I posted this in the Dirty Little Secret thread but I figured I might have more luck over here.
Can anyone please help me with the wiring on this please. I have a SPDT mini switch( so I can bypass the cap) that I want to wire up with the .005 cap for the mod.

Here is a diagram: Thanks

Now I 'm a little confused. I got a different diagram form other members. Which is right?

That will cut it completely from the circuit. Depends on how you want it to be. In my diagram, one side will have the cap, the other will keep a straight connection. In the second one, one side is the cap, the other is no connection at all.

Hey Satellite, thanks for the reply's. Sorry, but I am a noob at this.

You say that on the second diagram one side is no connection at all, is that not the same as a straight conection?

What I want is for one side of the switch to bring the cap into the circuit and for the other side to avoid it.

thanks.

On the second drawing, you have the signal coming from the left terminal on the DLS. It goes to the center of the switch. If you have the switch in one position, the signal will go through the cap, and back into the right terminal. If you flip the switch, the signal won't go anywhere past the switch, as it isn't going back into the DLS. There is a possibility that is how the thing should be wired. You won't hurt anything by wiring it that way to try it out. At worst, you will only have one side of the switch with signal passing. If that is how it is, then rewire it to my diagram.
