I'm going to the "Z Fest" (DR Z !)

I'm old buddys of the DR, he just told me about the Z fest Friday afternoon...I'm not sure if it's open to the public, might be for all I know. I've been loving my EZG 50, but may consider buyinga lower power amp as well for the smaller clubs....He said something about having some new models as well cooollllll :love: :aok DR Z builds some mean tone machines !

Drove through Cleveland twice this past week enroute to/from Detroit for a family emergency and wished I had the time to stop off at Z-land! Love my Maz 18 NR head. Will get an EZG-50 one day for sure.

Frankie, any more details/impressions that you could provide would be great. I'm real curious about the Reverb, which is supposed to be more robust than most Z designs not counting the EZG.

Ok, I must say it was kind of hard to give anyting a in depth trial There where amps blasting out of every corner of the place ! But the reverb was more intense then his typical verbs in the past models, not quite as plentiful as the EZG 50. It has the half power switch and the Z-brake lite which gives you a ton of control over the break up. At full power it was not quite as clear and loud as the EZG. We heard and tried a 1-12 combo and a 2 10 combo. The 2-10 sounded bigger and deeper. His 10's are great, or maybe it's the way th amps are voiced, it gets along with 10's very well. I usually don't like 10's, but his are great ! It's a way cool amp !
