Should come as quite a surprise for those that think of Buckethead as a mindless shredder. Thanks for the post.

Gorgeous, indeed...
Lovely tune. Any guesses at guitars/amps used here? Especially the solo part - what a gorgeous clean!

"The Landing Beacon". Very evocative name and very beautiful tribute. Thanks for posting. Apparently his favorite MJ dance (after the moonwalk, of course) move was the same as mine, the lean in Smooth Criminal.

I preferred his tribute to Ol' Dirty Bastard upon his death, but this was simply beautiful...
(here's the ODB tribute if you're interested... was also posted for free on his website: http://home.comcast.net/~bcoutu/bheadodb.mp3 (http://home.comcast.net/%7Ebcoutu/bheadodb.mp3) )

I saw the Bucket play 'Human Nature' in Asheville. It was so great. I knew he loved Michael just by the way he played it.

It amazes me how he can compose such a simple song that is so deep at the same time.
It's actually very easy to play.

Not to poke at you, but since when has complexity = depth? It's normally the other way around.

I can't hear it on the machine I'm using but the drawing of Michael leaning forward was part of a video where he and the dance crew are wearing shoes he invented and received a patent on.
They have a V in the heel and a stud comes up from the floor and locks into the heel enabling them to lean forward at an angle that would be otherewise be impossible.
Micheael Jackson with a patent...who knew?
Wow, Thanks for posting that,
It's beautiful.
And I would love to hear Buckethead play Human Nature! Miles's version gives me chills every time.

cool info! I always liked the one dancer that almost tripped trying to get out of the stud in that one performance (the more populate one on youtube). Or course I am a little bit of a sick-o.

Makes you wonder why Michael didn't tap Buckethead for his band. I bet they would have wrote some cool stuff together.
