I bought it because i saw a one-page article on the Vox AC10 Twin, which I own. But when I got home i found another spread on the Thomas Organ Vox tube amps of the 60's, one which I used to own too. Man, they are putting out some me-appropriate features these days. Nice job, VG!

There is a nice article about Doug Sewell. I didn't care much for the cover story on Motley Crue. Generally love the magazine, though.

The one referred to by the OP is the Mick Mars cover that I just received also. Mick has some nice old Strats in his home collection. The Vox amp feature was good too.

Funny how he looks soooooo much older inside the mag.

got it - but I missed the AC-10 article !!

seeing as I also have a '64 AC-10 I love - I'm headed to "the library" to sit on the throne and read it ( just in case you wanna visual ) :nono

Yeah,those Thomas Organ Vox tube amps were rather nice.I had a Cambridge Reverb back in the day that I would sure like now.

IIRC, it's an older photo on the cover (early 90's?). Will have to check it out again.
