What boutique style pickup will help fill out a bright guitar? Especially in the bridge?

We need some more backround info...for example, do you mean a single coil or a humbucker, what kind of bridge the guitar has, what kind of sound you're going for, what kind of output you want in a pickup (vintage, medium, high)...things like that.

Humbucker in vintage range in a Les Paul style guitar.

Alnico 5 PAF wound to say 7.1-7.6k. That will work great. I would suggest closer to the lower end.

Usually yanked out in favor of a booteek brand pup- the lowly Gibson Burstbucker 1 & 2 series does the job for me and I've tried a bunch. I bet there are thousands sitting in parts drawers of Historic owners all over the world. I'm buying them as fast as I can afford them and swapping out. Shhhh. Don't let the secret out. To each his own!
