I searched and I was surprised to find that there's never been a thread on them here at TGP!! One of my favorite bands, they do a great mix of reggae, punk and rock stuff. It's an awesome sounds. Chad Stokes, the lead guitarist and vocalist (you may know him from Dispatch) also uses some cool gear including a 1960s LP Junior a guitar he made out of a gas can. They are very politically oriented, but we can ignore that here. Another awesome thing is that they do community service before just about every single show they play. They put on a great live show and to watch Chad sing beautifully all while playing some pretty intricate songs is impressive. They're some really cool guys who play great music. Anyone here like them? Post if you do, or if you're just discovering them!

I definitely like Dispatch after seeing that Zimbabwe Madison Square Garden show on Palladia... but I have yet to hear State Radio.

Amazing band.
I did a couple of shows with them last year and they blew me away.
Great playing for a 3 pc. and the lyrics are right up my alley.

That's pretty cool! Maybe I saw you guys, did you play the DC date with them by any chance?
And yeah, I'm always surprised at how good that gas can guitar sounds!
