I like the feel of the necks on Ibanez semi-hollow bodies, many of the new Epiphones, Teles and Strats. I like a guitar that will go from Larry Carlton to Grant Green. Which guitar's neck would feel better to me, and which guitar would have the richest, most complex tone: Edwards 335 clone or Gibson 339?

bump. My question is not stupid. The Gibson neck might be uncomfortable to someone who enjoys the Ibanez neck. Also, the Edwards guitar is made of real tone woods with no plywood like the Gibson.

Whether or not your question is stupid, don't feel ignored just because nobody replied within 2 hours of your initial post...

Anyway, I have the Edwards... the neck is a generous size and certainly larger than most current Fender models, it's both wider at the nut and more of a handful. It sounds fabulous with the Wolfetone Dr.V pickups I put in it.

Its funny that everyone loves ES335's and praises their tone ect ect.... but then bitch that they are "plywood" :hide

the plywood has least feedback compare to the solid wood on es335 type body.
