As of now i dont have any high output pickups and sometimes i like to fool around with them.

Does anyone know a good single coil sized high output humbucker that i can put in my strat. I would also like it to be splitable because i use the 4th position in my strat alot. I hope i can find a HO pickup that i can split and still have a good amount of quack. in the 4th pos.

how would I go about doing this, do i need some kind of push pull pot??

why go for a humbucker when there are several winds that get in the P-90 output range

klein and rio grande just to name a couple

i have a klein in my tele that blows me away

A Lace sensor Red does the job for me, takes OD and Dist really well yet works well with the middle pickup, it output is 16k i think but dont quote me on that.

i just put a rio dirty harry in the bridge of my ej strat, and it is fat enough to sound like a humbucker, but can also do single coil tones. great pickup.

DiMarzio Fast Track here. #1 or #2, which ever one's hotter. It CRANKS but still has a lot of single coil character.

A base plate can add some nice beef as well.
