BOGNER SHIVA: What pedals & effects do you use with it? What cabs?

Got my 1st Shiva. I really like the amp alone... but I am interested to know what pedals & processors you guys are using with your Shiva that seem to work the best

(And how are you hooking them up?... through the front input... effects loop...?)

Also... What cabs have you found to sound best with the Shiva?

I had a 6L6 model, so not sure this is exactly helpful. But I liked a Klon and a Fulldrive II upfront for OD, and a Fulltone '69 for fuzz. I ran a few things in the loop, pedal echos mainly like a T-Rex Replica or Carbon Copy, sounded great. In terms of speakers, I had a 1x12 with a CL80, but towards the end of the time I had it I would run the combo into a 2x12 with EVM-12Ls, sounded HUGE!!

FD2, Choral Flange and Phase 90 out front. TC Gmajor 2 in the loop.

Cabinets are a 74 Marshall with Vintage 30's at 16 Ohm's, and a shiva sized 1x12 with a 16ohm Vintage 30

The open back shiva 2x12 sounded awesome.

I have a 6L6 older model. Most anything will sound good through it. My favorites are Xotic RC Booster and BB+ Preamp, though I usually use just volume pedal and maybe a delay. Takes wahs well. I don't use the effects loop (except for the out being out into a PA usually; works well) but I heard a really good player say that he thought the effects loop was very good while borrowing the amp once.

I have a 6L6 1x12 (WGS V30 clone) Shiva, my OD pedals are Zendrive>FDII>KOT they all sound great I rarely use the effects loop but have a chorous and flanger that see occasional use. Everything sounds great thru this amp!

I have noticed my pedals sound GREAT through the clean channel... but they dont seem to sound good on the OD channel for some reason

Have any of you experienced this?

The OD channel ALONE sounds good though

I was really expecting my Xotic BB would be great with the OD channel on the Shiva...but so far I dont think so

I had the 6L6 running through a Bogner OS2x12 with V30's. Sounded great. For pedals I used Katana clean boost, OCD, Keeley delay, Keeley compressor and Digitech CF-7 chorus and a wah.

It won't, stacking overdrives usually doesn't work very well.
Try a RC Boost or a Analogman Beano Boost with the OD channel.
Those work great for me.
