But getting up a 4AM to be at the radio station to play geetar at 6:30 is darn early.
That said, the T5 straight into a DI was about the least no muss set-up I ever had...and it was rocking. I think I might not sell that after all...
And it was air conditioned, which is nice with this Nashville weather we're having in Seattle.

Idaho tomorrow, and back to Seattle for the Kenney Chesney thing Saturday...

I never have jet lag issues. Whether I play in Europe or South Pacific.

Yeah, I was wondering if you had melted, or something. Man, 104 degrees is not your typical Seattle weather. It's really thick, cold fog here in SF lately. A span of about a 50 mile radius from SF has temperatures ranging from overnight lows of 50 degrees, up to the low 90's. It's about 60 right now, and quite dark & gloomy out.

Dude my house is a constant 92 with 3 fans going 24/7. This is lik a dry version of Nashville July. Blech!

Really? Ever been to Japan?
You wear your shoes at home?
Ask a Buddhist about grounding.

I have no issue with you poking fun of it, but just because you don't relate certainly makes it neither rude nor crude.

I fail to see how it is rude and crude. You don't take your shoes off when you walk into your friends houses? Are the floors filthy already, so dragging in outside funk is cool? :)

It's not like no shoes, no shirt, no service...me running around barefoot all day, living on Skid Row. I play guitar...shoes come off. All there is to it.
And here's who started me wih it...

ok rude and crude probably wasn't the best choice of words... so your telling me when you go into someone's home you take your shoes and socks off? :) anyhow, I just find it amusing you take your shoes and socks off to play guitar... could be worse... :) we have dogs that drag in enough funk into our house already... dam dogs..:D

Depends on the whose place it is, but many folks I know actual will ask you to take your shoes off. The only reason I have no socks on is hat it's summer i.e. flip-flop or sandal time. In the winter shoes come off socks stay.

Around here, it is not uncommon to see someone perform barefoot (bar bands and larger acts). I always thought it exuded a cool earthy vibe. I always practice that way but it would not work for me when playing out.

You know who rags on you the worst about that? Youtube. Man, all they comment about is footwear or the lack thereof. I swear half the comments are either "I've got socks like that!" or "way to rock the Chucks" or "get some new kicks, loser" or "his gear's so pricey he couldn't afford shoes!" and the like ;)

Funny, on the east coast, we're having SEATTLE weather....rain for the past 40 out of 45 days!
