Hey guys where do you get your NOS tubes ? Need info for all type of tubes and need to be able to ship to Canada. It would be cool if it's actually somewhere you've ordered before so you could let me know if the service was good item arrived as described etc...
Thanks.

what are you looking for? ever look at KCA NOS tubes.
always talk to someone on the phone and make sure they have exactly what you want and what amp ( esp. what plate voltage) they will be installed in
some older tubes can't handle some of the higher plate voltages

What I mean is let's say you're looking for 12ax7 or 6L6 whatever and you feel like trying Mullards or any other brand. I'm just looking for to best place to get them.
Thanks.

Id recommend KCA's website if he had at least 50% of the tubes on his site in stock.
Last time I checked, I looked at page after page and nothing was in stock. until he fixes that- at least with an "out of stock" quote on his main page I will shop elsewhere. I do like Mike thiought. I just wish he'd fix that.

BTW Jay - Greg at Hi Test is old school, no email, no website ordering or any of that. Just call him and you'll have a great tube discussion. I got some NOS XF-1s for my 68 plexi and ....well.....the clouds parted.
