Probably a Gibson Pat Martino Model. He's had his own signature model for years.

It's still in limited production and you can find them used.

Pat has made a remarkable recovery to reclaim his mantle of one of the greatest living Jazz guitarists...

Now THAT'S what a Philly Organ Trio blues should sound like..........huge groove.

Total Great stuff Indeed ...
Anything Harvey Mason is involved with is always da bomb ...

Yeah, that's Pat's Sig Model..
Got one too.. only loaded with Fralins.. one of the finest necks ever BTW
Very different then any Gibson neck you'll play ..
(Tere's a pic here of mine in this thread if you're curious:

Yeah, the headstock kinda' threw me. I don't think all the P. M. model Gibsons have headstocks like that? Do they? Seems to me the original P. M. models had the regular Gibson headstock? They were also all humbucker guitars...no P-90s.

I'm thrilled to be seeing Pat with Tony Monaco this coming autumn in San Francisco... haven't seen him in about 12 years...

I saw Pat Saturday night at the Iridium with Tony Monaco and Jason Brown on drums. They were smokin! Pat was playing this exact guitar. I was probably 30 feet from the stage, and this particular guitar has all black hardware and black pup covers.

Awesome. Such cool lines from him. Although kind of a half speed Martino compared to the 70's stuff, still great. Funny to see him with a pair of Marshall 4X12s. Awesome stuff!

that hammond player is such a goofball!! has anyone watched him perform? his facial expressions and side comments are priceless. I can't decide whether I actually like him or just entertained by his antics. I love me some hammond too.

Pat is the man...

The trio played here in DC in June - recorded the new album over six sets. Drummer was Jeff "Tain" Watts, not Mason. just the best...

He has a new endorsement deal, so no more new Gibsons.

Here's mine:

Stock with pick guard removed.

Pat's website has recently gotten a face lift.

http://www.patmartino.com

He has his own record label now - the trio record will be on it. The new signature model will be announced there. Should be familiar to anyone into arch top makers, Pat's will be a solid body.

If you haven't seen the documentary it's a great flick.

I've been lucky enough to spend a few hours in his presence...I can honestly call Pat a genius, a very high being.

My take on the Gibson: a semi-hollow Les Paul, not identically but serves that purpose for me.

however, it stays home now and I take the SG on the subway.
