I'm going to be putting together a partscaster and am looking to do a somewhat out of the ordinary finish - definitely not a standard Strat color. So far, I've come up with copper or possibly even the crazy metallic lime green I saw in an earlier post here on TGP (doesn't sound like a good idea on paper, but that guitar is just awesome). I've got a very talented paint guy nearby, so I can pretty much get anything done I ask for.
So, anyone have pics of their unusual finished Strats they'd like to share?

Reverse midnight blue burst. Not sure I'm that crazy about this finish even though I bought the guitar new in 93, but I think something similar could be cool (especially in lime green) :)

^ Those remind me of the 83 Bowling Ball Strats. I did something similar once with a dip process. was pretty simple.
