guess i'll post this here since gibson removed the links on their discontinued guitars.

i am looking for information on a certain les paul with ebony board without inlays. iirc, there are no neck bindings either. the back of the body and neck come finished in black and they have bright colors on the top such as blue, yellow etc.

maybe the les paul aficionados can help me here since i can't remember the exact model. any information is much appreciated.

thanks as always,
dani

Are you talking about the Gem series? Although I don't remember a yellow one.

I believe the Gem series were painted the same color all over.

A 70's thing?
The Les Paul Pro? Mine had ebony f/board, maple neck, P-90s
[ooops, not it; this had inlay blocks]

Late 90's- early 2001 ish. They came in flip flop teal, bright red, yellow and green. They were Studios as I recall. I'm sure theres a pix of one on ebay or Gbase.

Studio Light?

The LP Studio Lite had inlays.

How about this limited Studio from 2004:
