I saw them open for The Black Crowes last summer and I thought they sounded awful. However, I did enjoy the acoustic thing you linked and I've heard that song somewhere else recently and wondered who it was because I really liked it.

go right now and check out ambulance ltd. from the 2 seconds i listened to carney...well let's just say they sound very similar.

Reeve Carney studies voice with my partner at our vocal studio. He's great! He's actually landed a major role in an upcoming blockbuster project that should make him a huge star. I don't think it has been announced yet, so I can't say. Just keep watching...he's gonna be big.

very "hipster". i can see them being one of those bands that people like just because it's cool to like them. they remind me of the mars volta but a little more rootsy.

it's not totally my thing but they seem like a decent band (who really pays a lot of attention to their image)
