Help with my Mixing Board to my Mac...should be easy...

Im hoping for some help here.

I have a Line 6 UX1 box that goes to my Mac

I have a Behringer Mixing board...

I want to mic my drums with multiple mics...

I take two 1/4 audio cables from the line inputs of my Line 6 box to the outputs of the mixing board.

I have 5 mics connected to the mixing board to the drums...

I am getting sound into the computer and recording works but...

On the mixing board it is showing only a mono signal.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong and why it's not stereo? Do I need to use one of the stereo line in?

Do you have your DAW setup as a stereo track? Or two mono - one panned L and one R?

Or is it going to one mono track?

By the way, the recording on my computer is coming in as stereo but on the mixing board (real separate mixing board holding my 5 drum mics) it is in mono for some reason...

I don't know the exact model of the mixer but it could be:

Everything is panned to one side
OR
Your mixer has issues

a) everything is panned to one side
b) the channels are assigned to only one side (although usually channel assignments are done in pairs)
c) your mixer has an issue with the metering or the master channel or a buss send buffer or connector or...

Thanks and it is a Behringer UB1832FX. Got it yesterday in a closeout for a song and have everything hooked up and recording levels are good on the computer...but the mixing board is showing mono and everything is in the middle on pan.

Just checked the block diagram. The main/monitor switch should be set to main.
